HwebPay allows your business to reach a global market. You can accept payments from customers using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards issued by banks anywhere in the world.

Security & Fraud Prevention

International transactions are higher risk than local ones. To protect you, HwebPay employs several layers of security:

• 3D Secure (3DS): We mandate 3DS for all eligible international cards, requiring the customer to verify the transaction with an OTP from their bank.
• Velocity Checks: We block card numbers that show suspicious behavior across our entire network of merchants.
• IP Monitoring: We flagging transactions where the card issuance country doesn't match the customer's IP location.

Exchange Rates & Settlements

When an international customer pays you in USD (for example), we charge their card the USD value. The funds are then converted to NGN and settled into your HwebPay balance. We use real-time market rates and provide full transparency on the conversion in your transaction receipts.
