HwebPay is currently headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, but our vision is to power the entire African continent. Here is the status of our regional availability:
Live Regions
Nigeria: Full service for both Starter and Registered businesses. Accept NGN and International payments, use all commerce tools, and enjoy T+1 payouts.
In Beta / Coming Soon
- Ghana: We are currently in private beta with select merchants. We support Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AT) and Card payments.
- Kenya: M-Pesa integration is currently in testing. We expect to launch full services by Q2 2024.
- South Africa: We are currently securing our regulatory licenses to operate as a payment service provider in the SA market.
Accepting International Payments
Even if your business is only registered in Nigeria, HwebPay allows you to sell to the world. You can accept payments from customers in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, and over 100 other countries. These transactions are processed in the customer's local currency and settled to you in Naira.
Currency Support
We currently process transactions in NGN, GHS, KES, USD, GBP, and EUR. We handle all currency conversions in the background so you don't have to manage multiple offshore accounts.
