Getting started with HwebPay is a simple, digital-first process. Follow this exhaustive guide to ensure your account is set up correctly for maximum success.

Phase 1: Registration

  1. Visit hwebpay.test/register.
  2. Email: Use a functional business email. This will be used for all critical notifications, settlement reports, and security alerts.
  3. Password: Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including symbols and numbers).
  4. Verification: Check your inbox for a verification code. Enter this code on the registration page to confirm your identity.

Phase 2: Business Profile

After verifying your email, you will be asked to describe your business:

  • Business Name: This is what your customers will see on their bank statements (the "Descriptor").
  • Business Category: Be as accurate as possible. This helps us assign the correct risk profile to your account and prevents transaction flags.
  • Estimated Volume: Tell us roughly how much you expect to process monthly. Don't worry if you are just starting; you can update this as you grow.

Phase 3: Test Mode

Once you finish the initial setup, you are immediately dropped into Test Mode. In this mode:

  • You can generate "Test" API keys.
  • You can simulate successful and failed payments using our test card numbers.
  • You cannot accept "Real" money yet.
  • To start accepting real payments, you must complete the Compliance section.
